Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Marilyn. But that was once upon a time. Today Marilyn is (or would like to be) everyone's fairy godmother. Kitten-like and playful, she sees herself rather grandly anyway. Still, she's apt to poke fun at herself whenever she can. That's just a "coverup" of sorts though because the Marilyn I know takes herself rather seriously. She's a strange mix all right, as you'll see. In the meantime, please journey with us back through memory lane.... Born December 9th during the Great Depression (1934) the second daughter of Ethel and Wilbur. Her last name is French. Just about everyone louses up its pronunci- ation so we'll just skip it now. Like all children should be, she was protected against all manner of evils and hardships endured by the populace at that time. She learned well and all her teachers helped build her resolve and faith. Today... she's a formidable woman aging but wise. (And STILL behaving playfully !)

Marilyn at 9 Years Old
Only in later years did she resemble her Mom. This other photo on right should never've seen the light of day! Marilyn clowning without her uppers. Yuk ! You could meet her on the street today and never recognize her (she HOPES looking like this!) but given the right incentive, she cleans up pretty well !(See below)

Such Foolishness ! Ever the Ham!
Please indulge this buffoon a bit. She took her own picture (above) with the new video camera. Being just as comfortable without teeth as with, she decided to ham it up for the camera. The poorly written text on the photo just goes to show you that she AINT POIFECT YET ! |
