Yes, I know I tend to wander slightly off-course, but heaven only knows that some of the most magnifiscent "finds" have be made because I wandered. I wander occasionally whether I'm working or playing, but Winnsboro SC seems to bring out the wanderlust in me. I wonder why?
I have a confession to make.....but not here....
All right, you twisted my arm. Probably one of the best reasons I can think of since I'm here in Winnsboro SC for the wanderlust is a fellow traveler who also likes the "detours." I would imagine that several folks by now are beginning to wonder why I'm personally so enthralled with this town--Winnsboro.
I think I only found out the answer recently myself. At Bruce's suggestion, I took on the task of learning how to use HTML code so I could make a website all about Fairfield County, Winnsboro and Ridgeway...just as an information guide to others who might be considering a change of residence, or getting ready to retire. Since I felt so strongly that Winnsboro was a WONDERFUL PLACE, why not...So I embarked upon a major task of researching my new-found home town and environs while learning this new-fangled code (language).
Somewhere along the way, as Bruce and I travelled the back roads, snapping photos (Bruce is the grandmaster here) and just generally showing me the sights....somewhere along the way, we grew closer...66 year old companions and we were enjoying each other's company. Well, I don't have to draw you a picture, do I???

SIMILARITIES
There are just too many "coincidences" to be only chance! Without reciting the litany of similarities we share, I'd have to say that being comfortable around each other has much to do with the profusion of sites pertaining to Winnsboro that have cropped up. And yes, I'm partially responsible for that, having a short attention span, I guess. But with a certain one-pointedness, Bruce has managed to gently keep me on track...not at all a bad thing, you see. And perhaps God willing, we'll be presenting new sites on who-knows-what. We do share many similarities, interests, likes and dislikes. He's a wonderful partner in crime LOL. {{{hugs+Bruce}}}
